
During a recent teleconference Motley Crue, guitarist Mick Mars commented that now that the band was back together and packing the fans in nationwide, ““We’re getting along better than ever It’s so great to see that, you know. If you were here you could see like the difference between like the early days and now.”

Also on hand during the interview were singer Vince Neil and bassist Nikki Sixx. Drummer Tommy Lee was on vacation.

The reunion tour which is called “Carnival of Sins” began last spring. That they are still going and starting on a third set of dates, a year later, is a measurement that there is much more harmony with the band then in the past.

The is a huge turnaround for the band known for its ferocious inner fighting and out-of-control lifestyles which by proxy produced albums like “Shout At The Devil,” and “Dr. Feelgood.”
The desire to play together again as Motley Crue and the prospect for healing fractured relationships, gave a strong pull for the band to get together again.

Vince Neil said, “We just wanted to go out and have some fun, and we knew the tour would do well. We just didn’t really think it would do this well, which is always a really good thing.”

With the goal of having their tour schedule manageable and less stressful plus the fact that they have grown up and matured, has gave impetus to their enjoying the restoration of the band.

According to the band members, now they have learned to communicate their issues with one another and not let them fester, contrary when they used to let things go and they eventually lead to explosive friction.

While those things have changed, there are some things in the show that have stayed the same.

This show will be comparable to past ones, which tells us that it will include a special guest midget, crazy clowns and the obligatory beautiful ladies.

They feel that things are going so well that they are considering producing a new album. But they are in no hurry to put the pressure on as far as a timetable goes and are more concerned with its quality than hurrying things up.

For now they want to make the tour the center of attention, after that they will see what they want to do.
