If you want to play a game that gives you the feel of a Hollywood tycoon or produce your own film with tools included in the game, this should be a blast and a lot of fun for you.
In an online Movies Video Review, Ryan Davis takes you through about a 5 minute presentation talking about the object of the game and the tools available to you.
There are actually two different aspects to the game. There is the mover and shaker side where you create an entire movie kingdom and you are the one in charge of everything from hiring and firing, to making stars, the whole gamut of the business side. This particular part of the game has the feel of Tycoon, if you've ever played that, although there are some limitations there as this part of the game lasts for only about 20 hours.
The thing that makes this a great game is the actual moviemaking side of it. This aspect of the game has more of a Sims feel and look to it. But there are an enormous amount of movie-making tools that you can use to make real films that can be uploaded and viewed at the site.
If you really like the thought of creating your own movie and want to take the time to do it, this has some built in features that can really work well. To do something quality though, it will take time.
This part of the game, in contrast to the "mogul" side, has an unlimited amount that you can exlore and endlessly create new things and visions that you have.
Overall, if you like the Sims and Tycoon experience and want to make your own projects come to life and put them online for others to see, this could be a real good game and tool for you to use.

Thanks for the review. I was thinking of getting this game but didn't want to pull the trigger. Now I feel better about the purchase.
