High Fashion 7, reaching 1.4 million viewers in its first six months, is now going to offer exclusive content from top designers and celebrities.
"US-based Amaru Inc. (AMRU) and its subsidiary, M2B World Inc., today announced the lineup of content to be available via its HighFashion7 Channel soon to be launched on its Global Broadband TV Service. The star-studded array of content will include interviews and features on celebrities and designers including Jennifer Lopez, Giorgio Armani, Christian Dior, Ralph Lauren, Anna Sui and Calvin Klein, and is expected to be one of the most popular in the 40-Channel service which is accessible through the company's state-of-the-art Set-Top Box. It is a programming lineup that has already proven to be one that strongly resounds with viewers, as the affiliated M2B broadband channel HighFashion7 (www.highfashion7.com), which debuted online in fall of 2005, has already surpassed company expectations, having reached over 1.4 million viewers in the first six months with both the viewer base and programming library continually growing."
"We believe that this channel will be a draw for viewers not only for the content genre, but to our Global Broadband TV service as a whole," said Rebecca Binny, General Manager of M2B World Inc. "We have and will continue to secure exclusive peeks at the world of high fashion, celebrities and glamour and will provide that to our viewers in a way that accommodates the demands of their time."
In early 2006, M2B conducted a market study on what on-demand content and programming was most interesting to American viewers. The results were that 50% of female respondents were interested in fashion and lifestyle entertainment.
Content on the channel will be made up of a list of fashion superstars including Zac Posen, Versace, and Gucci to name a few; with celebrity features on Tyra Banks, Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, Helena Christensen, and Karen Mulder.
