Noted for being the top party that honors the Kentucky Derby and voted by People as one of the top 10 parties to go to in America and by Gold Magazine as one of the top international parties, the Barstable-Brown Gala representatives, Patricia Brown and Priscilla Barnstable announce the star-studded guest list of athletes, actors, politicians, singers and assorted VIPS who will attend the 17th annual Barnstable-Brown Gala on Friday, May 5th.
Held on Kentucky Derby Eve, the party is hosted at Patricia Brown's estate in Louisville, KY. GREY GOOSE, the "World's Best Tasting Vodka," will be sponsoring the event and also raise money for diabetic research.
Patricia exclaims, "I am honored and thrilled that all of these amazing celebrities are joining in our gala! It is going to be a fabulous night!"
Some of the celebrities that have been confirmed for the 2006 event are: Ashanti, Tom Brady, Brooks & Dunn, Delilah, Jermaine Dupri, Gilbert Godfried, Goo Goo Dolls, Bobby Flay, John Hensley, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Dennis Hopper, Jewel, Stacy Keibler, Chaka Khan, Nick Lachey, Tommy Lee, Ludacris, Archie Manning, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Stephanie March, Michael McDonald, Bode Miller, Montgomery Gentry's Eddie Montgomery, Jerry O'Connell, Carson Palmer, Stone Phillips, Jaime Pressly, Smokey Robinson, George Strait, Geoff Stultz, Travis Tritt, Serena Williams and ZZ-Top.

The party, which has been around since 1989, has donated over $12 million to the University of Kentucky and Univeristy of Louisville in honor of Patricia's late husband Dr. David Brown, who passed away from the disease.
