
With close to 2000 TV shows to have to choose from, along with many more irrelevant ads, it is becoming more of a demand by consumers to get the content they want, when they want it and with the ads they desire to see.
PermissionTV agrees, and according to Dave Graves, the CEO of the company, they are offering "high-quality television experience that creates a one-to-one relationship with broadband viewers."
While it has a similar look to Brightcove, PermissionTV goes further by offering not only the shows consumers want, but also the ads they are interested in viewing.
PermissionTV empowers media companies to create brand-specific, on-demand channels. With the viewing of the shows the consumer is granting permission to receive ads. They will be specifically tailored for the type of show being watched.
