R&B entertainer Rihanna's "SOS" moved up a whopping 33 places to take the number one position on Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart on Thursday, which moved Daniel Powter's "Bad Day," to No. 2 after being first for five weeks in a row.
The extraordinary jump happened because it became available to the digital download market. The song wasn't allowed to be downloaded until the album hit the stores.
Rihanna had another great surprise as her new song "Unfaithful" debuted in the Hot 100 list at No. 51. Other artists debuting in the Hot 100 were Phil Vassar with "Last Day of My Life" at No. 94 and AFI's "Miss Murder at No. 97.
