Bob Seger fans will be glad to hear that he is going to release his first album with all new material in 11 years. The album is scheduled to be released on Sept. 12th with the first single, "Wait For Me," to be released right after the Fourth of July.
It will be Seger's first album with all new songs since "It's a Mystery" in 1995. He released a "Greatest Hits, Vol. 2" album in 2003, with only two new songs on it.
Seger spent a lot of time putting together the album saying "You've got to get a standard bearer, something you want the album to stand up to."
While he hasn't decided whether to tour with the album's release, he said that he is in the process of deciding whether to do it or not. He may even put together a new version of his Silver Bullet Band before he would think about committing to specific dates. Seger last toured in 1996.
