The almost psychotic obsession that the entertainment industry has with copyright protection is getting even more ridiculous as Canadians are beginning to realize.
According to p2pnet The character on the right represents an effort by Access Copyright to cloud the minds of Canadian children and teachers.
"These propaganda blitzes go on. And on. And on. Like a dripping tap. Until eventually, they’re accepted as reality."
They further ask the question:
"As a parent, do you really think copyright law should be an integral part of your child’s education, or the subject for a scouting merit badge? Should it be the focus of 'educational' pamphlets distributed by Childnet? And should your son or daughter be thinking up names for a ridiculous "copyright crusading ferret"?
This is an all out assault by the entertainment industry to manipulate the youngest, most vulnerable people in an attempt to salvage a dead, worn out business model. I don't think we've even begun to see how low they'll stoop to fight the changes that are inevitable.
To infiltrate the school systems around the world to recruit and brainwash children to their mantra is inexcusable.
If you want to read something outrageous and scary, look at what Hollywood is doing in Hong Kong.
