"Deal or No Deal" ends season on high note

deal or no deal.jpgDeal or No Deal, the popular Howie Mandel-hosted series, finished up its inaugaural season with a first-place finish as it ended the year with a 90-minute show.

It ended up being watched by 18.2 million according to Neilsen Media Research, for a season-high audience.

The show premiered last December with a weeklong series and continued on till now. It is scheduled for a second year beginning this fall, and will run on Monday and Thursday nights.

It was NBC's most watched show in the 2005-06 season.
