Despite horrid reviews, The Break Up, starring Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn had a pretty good opener as it topped the weekend box office receipts with $38 million.

The X-Men: The Last Stand continued doing well as it came in 2nd for the weekend with a total of $34 million.
