Whether you like him or not, Tom Cruise is back in the No. 1 position on the Forbes Power 100. Five years ago he also held the No. 1 position.
In spite of the recent disappointment of Mission Impossible III, Cruise still remains the top drawing Hollywood star. People were beginning to write him off because of his strong criticism of the pharmaceutical industry and jumping on the couch drama on the "Oprah" show.
Still, his strong showing in "War of the Worlds" last year and his getting together with Katie Holmes and the resultant baby, Suri, he is still receiving tons of press and coverage.
Cruise, ended up earning $67 million last year alone.
