With the proliferation of reality and makeover shows, Britain has been experiencing a huge ris in cosmetic surgery.
A report by market research firm Mintel reveals that larger breasts, wrinkle-free skin and face-lifts are the major demands being made.
It is estimated that 700,000 procedures will be performed in Britain this year, 40 percent increase over 2005. Most of it is being driven by public perceptions being changed toward cosmetic surgery.
Mintel analyst Jenny Catlin said "Acceptance of cosmetic surgery is growing, television coverage and the popularity of procedures amongst celebrities (have) invariably played a key role."
Around 25 percent of British women and 10 percent of the men are considering using the procedure.
The report says that it will bring in around 659 million pounds in 2007, more than Britain spends on tea.
