
Former Loews executive Travis Reid has been hired by National CineMedia (NCM), to lead their Digital Cinema Business development. He will work with studios and financial sources to develop the digital cinema business plan.
National CineMedia is a joint venture of AMC Entertainment Inc., Cinemark USA, Inc. and Regal Entertainment Group (RGC).
He will work with Tom Galley, NCM's chief operations and technology officer, who is over the digital cinema system design, procurement and implementation.
When the plan is put in place, Reid, will lead the development of a financing structure to support the deployment of digital cinema equipment for NCM's partners' 13,000 screens, as well as other participating exhibitor screens.
