The goofy movie Jackass: Number Two evidently is what some people were looking for as it took over No. 1 at the weekend box office by opening with over an estimated $28 million. With Paramount having a tough year at the box office, this should be good news for them.
The Jet Li martial arts film Fearless was only able to garner between $10 and $11 million for its opening weekend. Li claims it will probably be his last film of this type.
In its third weekend, Gridiron Gang, with the Rock, was able to hang on to the No. 3 spot, taking in close to $10 million to bring its total to a little over $27 million.
