Sapphire Entertainment, Inc. has become the first African American-owned Television and Film Studio, and Distribution Center.
Andrea Allen, CEO and founder said, "Although we are an African American-owned studio, our products will not target the African American audience only. We're creating films and Television shows for all movie lovers to enjoy."
The company will have sales centers in Chicago and Los Angeles, with corporate offices in Chicago and New York.
Sapphire has received most of its funding from a private investor, but is still raising additional capital at this time.
They will be marketing, producing and distributing a variety of movies, not any one genre.
