
According to a report by Nielsen Media Research, Walt Disney Co.'s (DIS) ABC has the best start in network ratings in over 10 years.
Their stable of hits like "Grey's Anatomy," "Desperate Housewives" and "Lost," has propelled them to their fourth straight week at the No. 1 position in 18 - 49 age group, the most desired audience for prime-time advertisers.

The last time ABC has done this was in the fall of 1993, when their hit comedies "Roseanne," "Home Improvement" and "Coach" were on the schedule, according to Reuters.
Along with their regular big hits, they also have the most watched new series in "Ugly Betty." NBC's drama "Heroes" is the number one new show in the 18-49 demographic.
As far as total audience goes, CBS (CBS) has finished No. 1 for their fourth straight week. The most recent week they tied ABC for first in the 18-49 ratings; they have finished No. 2 behind ABC in the other three weeks.
After football, NBC's top-rated show is long-lasting "ER," now in its 13th season.
The top offering for Fox is "House," which has a No. 5 ranking among those 18-49 and is No. 11 in overall viewers.
