'Deliver Us From Evil' reveals the horror of Catholic pedophile priest, Oliver O'Grady

"Deliver Us From Evil," is a must see documentary concerning the outrage of the Catholic Church's alleged complicity in hiding the reality of a pedophile priest, Oliver O'Grady, and his sexual abuse of children.

The priest, being extremely, outwardly charming, worked his way into homes in the name of God, and stayed in guest rooms and preyed upon the children during the night. The Catholic sect moved him from place to place in central California, literally spreading his warped actions, deliverusfromevil.jpgrather than stopping them.

Jack Mathews at New York daily news said:

"O'Grady appears in the film, his face showing no sign of shame even as he acknowledges and describes the awful things he did. To understand how sick the man is, his youngest victim was a 9-month-old girl, the oldest a married woman he seduced in order to get to her teenage son.

"'Deliver Us' intercuts interviews with O'Grady and some of his grown and deeply bitter victims and their families. It's heart-wrenching stuff. But perhaps the greatest outrage is the alleged role played by Los Angeles Cardinal Roger Mahony, who was O'Grady's bishop during his reign of molestation."

The documentary makes a strong case that Mahony protected O'Grady victims of Oliver O'Grady.jpgon his hellish and predatory attacks upon people that were in his trust.

It's a must see, wrenching look at the ultimate abuse of power, not only by the attacker, but by the religious system that protected him. It is directed by Amy Berg.

think of it, what the film called Priest about a guy struggling with Homosexuality, another common problem.

Here we have th eother side of the story. the solution, allow Catholic priests to marry and allow Mother Superiors to be Monsegnors.

While I agree that part of the problem is systemic as far as the limitations go, a lot of this has been covered up for a long time by Catholicism, which seems determined to try to sweep these horrors under the rug.
