Jane Wyatt, the beloved TV mom in the popular TV series "Father Knows Best," has died at the age of 96. She died Friday in her home in Bel-Air California, according to her publicist Meg McDonald.
She won 3 Emmy's for best actress in a dramatic series from 1958-1960. She also starred as Mr. Spock's mom in the 1986 Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.
Most consider her greatest performance was in "Horizon," where she played a young woman that survived a plane crash in the mountains of Tibet.
Married on Nov. 9, 1935, Wyatt remained married to her husband, Edgar Ward, until he passed away in November of 2000.
