Garth Brooks' relationship with Wal-Mart (WMT) is a winner as he's sold 20 million CDs in the first year of the deal. He has already sold more CDs than any other artist through Wal-Mart.
The announcement comes just before is highly anticipated release of "Garth Brooks: The Entertainer." It will be a limited edition offering with 1 millon copies available for purchase.
It includes 7 hours of Garth at his best. There will be included with the set, 15 music videos, which will include 3 that have never been seen before. The one I want to see though is the Live from Dublin concert; it's by far my favorite of all his live performances.
"Garth Brooks' performances are history-making in of themselves and we're thrilled to be able to bring our customers and his fans a chance to see them again through this upcoming limited DVD set release," said David Porter, Wal-Mart vice 
president and divisional merchandise manager. "This release is very limited, and with the popularity of Garth's last boxed set, we anticipate the demand for this DVD set to be amazing as well!"
The DVD collection will be available on November 1, and sell for $19.95.
