The publisher of Trump Magazine, Premiere Publishing Group Inc. (PPG), has announced that an animated series starring real estate mogul and TV star Donald Trump is in the works.
PPG CEO and Trump Magazine editor Michael Jacobson stated, "Our first step is producing two shorts and a pilot to present back to Mr. Trump for approval, we have interest from major animation houses and television networks to produce the series, and project the shorts and 
pilot to be produced within 90 days, with the series in production first quarter 2007."
For guys like Trump, it's no longer about the money, but about the ego, fame and being the first. Unfortunately for him, another billionaire has beat him to the animation business, as Warren Buffett has already been tagged for a direct-to-DVD animated financial series called The Secret Millionaire’s Club. It will be a series of financial training clips that will center on teaching children financial literacy. Buffett's likeness and voice will be a part of the project.
