
For 12 weeks in a row, CBS (CBS) has won the weekly ratings war, as it kept its perfect record unblemished with another win. In the week just ending, the network averaged 11.7 million viewers for prime time and was rewarded with six of the weeks top 10 programs, according to Nielsen Media Research results. They also scored the No. 1 show of the week, "CSI."
NBC (GE) finished in second place for the week with an average of 10.2 million viewers. Their Sunday night football broadcast was the No. 2 finisher for the week. The popular "Deal or No Deal" took in the No. 3 spot.
Disney's (DIS) ABC finished a more distant 3rd, averaging 8.4 million viewers. Fox (NWS) finished up in fourth place with a 6.1 million viewership average, while the CW came in fourth with 3.6 million average.

his is all about to change after the new year when the perennial Fox heavyweights start their season with "American Idol" and "24" ready to kick off their highly anticipated seasons. It will be interesting to see if they hold the strength of numbers that the previous years have given them.
