Jerry Seinfeld has decided that he wants to give animation a try, and as a result, is now going to be the voice of a bee who leaves home (the hive), and learns that humans have been taking their honey. The movie is slated to open in November of 2007.
Along with Seinfeld, will be co-star Renee Zellweger, who will play the voice of a New York City florist named Vanessa.
Not only will Seinfeld be making his animation debut though, he is writing and producing the film. He's been quietly working on the movie for the last three years f
or Dreamworks.
Talking to Newsweek magazine he said, "I think I'm bringing a different humorous sensibility to an animated movie. There's a lot of attitude in the jokes, the same way it was on the show."
He said he gets a lot of ideas and material from his relatively recent family life, including his wife and three children who are all under the age of 6.
