Joining fellow Antiques Roadshow sponsors Liberty Mutual and sleep aid Lunesta, Suburu has replaced Toyota in the ad rotation.
Along with getting two 15-second on-air spots, the auto company will also participate in live "Roadshow" events. They will have an online presence on the PBS site as well in video-on-demand episodes.
Tim Mahoney, senior VP-chief marketing officer, Subaru of America said, "As a niche marketer of 100% all-wheel-drive vehicles, Subaru has to stand out from the crowd. We believe our sponsorship with PBS helps us do that. It simply fits our brand."
Suburu has also sponsored other shows on PBS including "This Old House," "Victory Garden" and "Globe Trekker."
The show is reportedly in negotiations to land a fourth sponsor. It is the highest rated PBS show on the network.
