
Fox (NWS) continues its assault upon the network ratings as it surged to its first Monday night win for the season in the 18-49 group. The action-packed combination of Prison Break" and "24" led the network to the win.
Nielsen reported that "Prison Break" had a preliminary 4.1 rating/11 share for the key demographic. It finished first in the 12-34 age group with a 3.8/11.
Following "Prison Break" at 9 was "24" putting up their usual solid numbers, coming in second in the 18-49 age group with 5.4/12 in 18-49, but first in a number of others.
NBC (GE) had been having its way all year before Fox released its powerhouses, but still was able to take second place for the night being led by "Deal or No Deal" with 4.8/12 in 18-49. Heroes was their second place finisher with a 6.1/14 in the 18-49 demo. Both were off from their numbers from the previous weeks.
The reality shows for ABC (DIS) did pretty well with "Wife Swap," even though it was a repeat, finishing with 3.2/8 in 18-49. "Supernanny" brought in a solid 3.5/8 in 18-49.
With CBS (CBS) they decided to run a night of repeats, although "CSI: Miami" led the way for them bringing in 13.4 million overall viewers and 3.9/10 in 18-49. "Two and a Half Men" didn't do too bad for a repeat either drawing 12.7 million viewers and a 3.5/8 in the key demo.
