With his deal with Warner Bros. TV (TWX) ending in June of 2007, it didn't take long for one of Warner's competitors to grab Hank Steinberg. Steinberg is currently creator and executive producer of "Without a Trace."
He signed a three deal that is said to be one of the most lucrative for project development, reaching into the high seven-figures. NBC Universal (GE) is the company behind the deal which has been waiting for several years for the first
opportunity to bring Steinberg on board.
NBC Universal TV Studio president Angela Bromstad said , "Now we're so happy to have the opportunity to sit down with him and talk about our respective goals and to have this creative marriage," she said. "We can't wait to start developing with him."
