
News Corp.'s (NWS-A) MySpace has announced that it's launching a new community page on its "Artist-On-Artist" series that will feature videos of various celebrities interviewing one another.
"The unique nature of the Artist-On-Artist series, creates a 'fly on a wall' experience for our users," said Josh Brooks, VP of Content and Programming, MySpace. "These exclusive interviews have become so popular in our video channel that we wanted to create a unique community dedicated to specifically
showcasing these viral video interviews."
The new community is being sponsored by New Line Cinema and their soon-to-be-released film "The Number 23."
At the time of the launch there are 11 interviews that are offered. Some of them are:
* Musician Mike Patton and actor Danny DeVito
* Comedian Katt Williams and NBA basketball player Carmelo Anthony
* Actor Kevin Smith and Musician Zack Brakk
* Members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers Anthony Kiedia and Flea and Musician Mike Watt
* Jack Black and Kyle Gass of Tenacious D and Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters
The profile community will also be connected to the personal MySpace page or music profile of the participants, along with a connection to the MySpace Video home page.
