
"Stomp the Yard" held onto the number one spot in the North American box office for the weekend taking in $13.3 million. After 10 days into release, the film has brought in $41.6 million, and is estimated to finish with around $60 million. The film cost about $14 million to produce.
The popular "Night at the Museum" came in second, mirroring "Stomp" with $13 million. The film has taken in $205.8 million since its release five weeks ago.
Coming in third was "Dreamgirls" with $8.7 million, which now brings their overall total to $78.1 million. It recently won the Golden Globe Award for the best comedy or musical.
