A&E has decided to drop Falk eSolutions as their ad-serving company and instead have decided to go with Adtech as their online display advertising company, which is based in Frankfurt, Germany, who has been seeking to increase its U.S. client base. Online properties of A&E include Biography.com, AETV.com and History.com.
According to Sandra Krebelj, A&E's director of digital media ad operations, the network decided to make the change because they felt that Falk, via their acquisition by DoubleClick, would no longer be able to serve them with the attention that Adtech could.
Krebelj said, "We were impressed with their customer service and the personal attention that they offered us. We were concerned that with DoubleClick, we would not receive that same level of attention."
A
dtech's platform is called, Helios IQ, and the transfer to the platform should be finished by the end of the month.
Adtech recently expanded its operations to the U.S. in September of 2006, and has also signed on online artist development company MusicNation as its first U.S. client.
