Rumors are starting to emerge that Charlize Theron is in the top position to play the late Playboy playmate Anna Nicole Smith who collapsed and died last week at 39 years of age.
Times online reported that, "Ron Rale, Smith’s lawyer, said the former stripper had ordered a dress for her own funeral after her son, Daniel, died of an apparent drug overdose in September — just three days after she gave birth to her daughter, Dannielynn. “There’s a dress Anna Nicole had. The dressmaker had been preparing a dress."
A Hollywood source said: "You couldn't make up a life story like Anna's. Studios are falling over themselves to pay tribute to an incredible woman.
"There are a number of actresses earmarked to play Anna, but Charlize is the favourite."
I'm not sure what source would call her an "incredible woman," but she wasn't publicity shy, that's for sure.
All of this is happening as the legal battle over Smith's body is still being fought.
Theron won an Oscar in 2004 for playing a serial killer in "Monster."
