Talk about the ultimate reality show. While people were watching the movie "Dreamgirls" at a theater in Torrington, Connecticut, an SUV smashed through the side of the building and ended up only inches above the moviegoers heads.
The incident happened at the 7:00 showing in the multiplex, as the white sport utility vehicle crashed through the wall. Police confirmed that the incident happened about 7:45 p.m. They added that the viewers were extremely lucky no one was hurt.
"I never thought it'd be here in the theater, especially while the show's running and a couple people are in here watching Dreamgirls. It was just surreal shock," said theater owner Robert Sadlon.
The idiot driver was 46-year-old Diletta Squires who was later charged with driving under the influence. Sheesh, it's not even safe to sit in a theater anymore.
