
Production companies Paramount Vantage and Michael London's Groundswell Prods. have partnered to produce and co-finance the upcoming film "The Marc Pease Experience." Starring in the project will be Jason Schwartzman. Ben Stiller is in negotiations for the co-starring role.
Former actor Todd Louiso will be writer-director with Jacob Koskoff the screenwriter. Louiso is best known for his co-starring roles in "Jerry Maguire, "Thank You for Smoking" and "High Fidelity." The lead Jason Schwartzman's latest finished project was starring in "Marie Antoinette." Stiller's latest is the hit, "Night at the Museum."
Amy Israel, executive vp production and acquisitions said, "The combined comedic talents of the cast, coupled with the wry sense of comedy that Todd is known for, is exactly the kind of film we hope to make a tradition here at Vantage." Vantage will take care of the distribution of the film, with production scheduled to begin in March in North Carolina.
Co-production will inlude David Rubin through his Firefly pictures partnered with Groundswell CEO Michael London.
