If you can't get enough of the Grammy Awards show, there's good news for you: CBS (CBS-A) has announced that it will stream a pre-Grammy Awards show on its CBS.com site, along with its CBS Radio Web sites on February 11 from 6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. EST., right before the main event comes up for broadcast on CBS.
While it will be a streamed Webcast, it will still be live from the Grammy Red Carpet, with the radio DJ Stryker from the West Coast doing the honors. Similar to regular broadcast Grammy events, Stryker will do interviews of the celbrities as they arrive for the event.
According to CBS Radio, almost all of the 147 radio stations will stream the event online. Top markets involved will include major stations in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles. There will be a steady barrage of on-air promotions to drive people to the pre-grammy show.
