"Bad Boys" director Michael Bay has confirmed reports that actor Will Smith's people contacted Jerry Bruchheimer to talk about plans for another sequel to the movie.
Bay added that he'd be open to doing another "Bad Boys," and that it would be a lot of fun to continue the series.
Rumors are that right after Bad Boys II was completed in 2003, Smith, along with his co-star Martin Lawrence immediately got in touch with Sony's Amy Pascal to see if they could make another sequel in a couple of years. Evidently that time may be almost here.
It seems that Smith may have gotten bored with his more dramatic roles is looking to have a little fun making an action film again.
