While the title Desperate Landscapes may not be too original, it's the name of one of the two upcoming new series on the DIY network this season. The show will be hosted by Jason Cameron and will premier on April 5, at 10pm ET.
This series will be based upon people voting for which of their neighbors has the worst looking front yard of everyone on the block. From their Jason will lead viewers throught he process it will take to change the yard over in one day. The results in such a short time stun the neighbors. It will air at 10pm ET every Thursday night and on weekends at noon ET.
A couple of days later, DIY will offer up "The Dirt On..." targeting those that may or may not know how to grow things. The network received a ton of requests for answers to landscaping and gardening problems. Hosting the show will be Ahmed Hassan, a professional landscaper. The show will include a number of special guests throughout the season. It will air on weekend mornings at 8am ET.
