Hilary Duff looking to come back in a big way as she seemed to have disappeared after her debut #1 album Most Wanted two years ago.
Now she's kicking off the release of her new album "Dignity" on a MTV.com supported multiplatform effort via "The Leak," Clips from Her MTV Specials Via Mobile, Album Digital Download on Urge, and 'TRL' Co-Hosting Duties.
First though, MTV is starting things off with two half-hour documentary specials called "Hilary Duff: This Is Now." They'll air April 2 at 9:30pm and on Monday April 9 at the same time.
I think this is a smart move as a lot of young stars, when they reach the age of Hilary, have struggled to transfer from their teen image to being an adult. The documentaries are meant to show Hilary in her new transformation and help fans to follow her through it.
The press release said that "Following Hilary during her days crammed with photoshoots, interviews, wardrobe fittings, rehearsals and a trip to Europe, "Hilary Duff: This Is Now" will give her fans a sneak peak at the new Hilary, a young woman who is evolving in front of our eyes, becoming her own person, getting a sense of who she is and who she wants to become."
Another added feature to MTV's support is that they will offer fans an exclusive chance to listen to the entire "Dignity" album on March 27, a week before its official release. Digital download of the album will be offered on April 3 by URGE.
