Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet have been extremely busy since they starred together in the blockbuster "Titanic." Now they are going to work together again on the upcoming film "Revolutionary Road," a story about a post-war couple living in the 1950s.
Sam Mendes, Winslet's husband, will direct the film for Dreamworks. Shooting begins this summer from the screenplay written by Justin Haythe. Producers for the film will be Mendes, John N. Hart, Scott Rudin and Bobby Cohen.
Concerning the project and the Richard Yates novel it's based upon, Scott Rudin said, "As one of the most venerated post-war American novels, it is both fitting and thrilling that it's come together with this extraordinary group of artists."
BBC films will be associated with production as their executive David Thompson has the rights to the book. Paramount (VIA-B) has worldwide rights to the picture.
