
In a move to compete with social networking sites MySpace (NWS-A) and YouTube, NBC.com has announced that it is adding video sharing and other social networking functions to its Web site.
Some of the features added will be uploading personal videos and photos and the ability to share them with those you want, creating fan groups based upon your favorite shows and build a profile about yourself.
-Users will also be able to share NBC (GE) videos with their friends and family and post them on other social networking sites or blogs.
As we talked about last post, this makes NBC very busy as they've also partnered with MySpace, AOL (TWX), MSN (MSFT) and Yahoo (YHOO) to battle Google (GOOG) and YouTube in the video space.
