Star Jones Reynolds has landed her own talk show with Court TV, she told People. "For me to come and bring my unique perspective as a talk-show host and a lawyer, and make that user-friendly for the viewer, I could not ask for a better place."
The show is scheduled to be launched sometime in the summer of 2007, but has not as yet been named.
The Court TV network said that it will merge the worlds of criminal justice with pop culture. Some may have forgotten that this Court TV is actually where Reynolds got her start in 1991. From there she joined The View on ABC (DIS) is very publicly didn't renew her contract last year.
Concerning the basis for the show Reynolds said, "Right now we're in this really unique place in our culture where law and justice, crime and punishment, politics and government, entertainment and pop culture have all converged. That's all we talk about now ..."
She also said that she misses talking about things daily that people really care about.
