For the first time in its history, "Jeopardy!" had its three contestants end up in a tie at the end of the final Jeopardy question.
At the end of final "Jeopardy" on Friday's show, it was found that the contestants ended up in a three-way tie after they answered a question about "Women of the 1930s." The question was asked about a women who, as a waitress, once served one of the men who ended up shooting her. Of course, the answer was Bonnie Parker, half of the infamous crime team of Bonnie and Clyde.
"We've had a lot of crazy things happen on `Jeopardy!' but in 23 years I've never seen anything like this before," host Alex Trebek said.
All three of the contestants were announced as champions and a rematch was taped that will shown on Monday.
As a result of the tie, the show got hold of a mathematician to detemine the odds of a three-way tie coming about. The odds? - one in 25 million.
