Alyssa Milano has been chosen for the lead role in Rina Mimoun pilot, which contrary to gossip on the Internet, hasn't been named yet.
She plays the part of an attorney in Boston, where she finds out some news about her husband during labor which causes her to take her newborn son and move back to Charleston, South Carolina to raise her baby. From there all sorts of chaos and fun ensues says Milano.
She adds on her blog that "The characters and relationships are so real, quirky and heartwarming. You will fall in love with this dysfunctional and yet functional family. I think there is something for everyone to relate to.
"I have to tell you, I have never been prouder to be a part of anything in my entire career and you know how proud I was of Charmed, so that’s really saying something."
Directing the project is Lawrence Trilling and the cast includes Mary Steenburgen, David Suttcliffe, James Brolin, Misha Collins, Anna Camp, and Ian Kahn.
