
Amy Grant has signed on with EMI CMG Label Group's Sparrow label for a long-term deal which will include her 30-year catalog of recordings. EMI also secured the option on any of Grant's future recordings.
"I have known and respected Bill Hearn and his father, Billy Ray, for over 25 years, but we have never officially worked together," remarks Grant. "I am so glad that scenario has finally changed. I am excited about the plans EMI has for my music and I am grateful for the amazing job they have done with so many artist catalogs and careers. I am thrilled to be part of the EMI family and look forward to working together for many years."
To begin with the company will re-master and -release 17 titles from her song catalog on August 14 in both digital and hard formats. They will also work with Grant on a Greatest Hit project that will span her whole career, which is scheduled for release in October. It will include at least one song from each studio album Grant has recorded.
Grant will also be touring with her husband Vince Gill, starting on July 14 at Atlanta's Chastain Park Amphitheatre.
Amy has sold over 30 million albums across the world and won six Grammy Awards and 21 Gospel Music Association Dove Awards.
