The box office this weekend has taken a breather in anticipation of the coming releases that promise to make this a huge summer for moviegoers.
"Disturbia" took the No. 1 spot again, but at a paltry, estimated $9.1 million take. With the flim being budgeted at $20 million, it should make money before the DVD release; something few films are doing any more.
The teen ghost drama "The Invisible" took the second spot for the weekend with a modest $7.6 million. Not surprising as expectations weren't high for any of this week's movies.
Nicolas Cage who stars in the third place finisher "Next," is a man with the ability to see a couple of minutes into the future, which puts him in unique situations throughout his life. It brought in $7.2 million in its debut weekend.
