The Congressional Black Caucus announced that it will still hold their planned Republican and Democratic presidential debates, even with the Democrats being afraid to participate. Not only has John Edwards run from the debates, but so has Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton.
The "Black Caucus" said that they have agreements in place and they said they will continue to honor those agreements.
In a statement the Congressional Black Caucus Institute said: "Black Caucus Political Education and Leadership Institute (CBC Institute) is sponsoring and will hold four primary debates - two among Democratic presidential candidates and two among Republican presidential candidates. Regarding media stories or inquiries about the broadcasting of these events, the CBC Institute has secured agreements with CNN and FOX News to nationally telecast the debates. Each network will telecast one debate for Democrats and one for Republicans, and we are proceeding with these agreements."
The strange obedience by Democratic hopefuls to the left wing fringe group Moveon.org is bizarre in telling them they should stay away from the "Black Caucus" sponsored debates only because it will be televised on Fox (NWS-A).
