A huge pig roamed the hills of South Georgia and gained legendary status up until the time a hunter ended the story. Or did he?
The legend of the mythical hog will continue on and probably grow as an independent filmmaker is going to produce a horror movie based upon the enormous pig called "The Legend of Hogzilla."
Who will be the adviser for the film? None other than Chris Griffin who ended the pigs earthly existence. "He's our hog expert," producer Rick Trimm said of guide Chris Griffin, who shot the huge animal.
While the legend had the pig at 12 feet long and weighing in at 1,000 pounds, it wasn't quite that big. But after a National Geographic team dug up the pig's remains, they still found that it had reached 8 feet long and weighed in at about 800 pounds. That's a lot of pork!
