Lisa Rinna has replaced the walking billboard for plastic surgery Joan Rivers and her sidekick daughter Melissa as the leading red-carpet host for the TV Guide Channel. Good riddance! Rivers and her daughter have been hosts since January of 2005.
Rinna has starred in "Days of our Lives" and "Melrose Place," and recently appeared on ABC's (DIS) "Dancing with the Stars."
"Lisa has the perfect mix of charisma, poise and experience to lead our live red-carpet coverage at the major industry award shows," Ryan O'Hara, president of TV Guide Channel said. "In addition to being an established TV star, she also has fashion expertise as both a business person and commentator, so she is a great fit for this role and for our brand."
Rinna will make her debut for the channel at he upcoming Emmy Awards on September 16, according to the network.
