Disturbia, the thriller starring Shia LeBeouf who has recently been recruited for the upcoming fourth installment of Indiana Jones, finished in the top spot for the weekend box office, taking in a pretty strong $23 million in its debut. It was a surprise for most as it was about twice as much as expected.
In its third time around, "Blades of Glory" starring Will Ferrell and Jon Heder took the second rung of the top movies as it was able to draw $14 million, dropping 38 percent from last weeks total
With many thinking it would be a total disaster after starting off with only $25 million in its debut, "Meet the Robinsons" held pretty strongly as they finished up third this weekend bringing in another $12 million to bring its total take so far to $72 million. That's only a drop of 28 percent, good news for Disney (DIS). It could possibly reach the $100 million mark by early May.
