
Wilmer Valderrama and Laurence Fishburne have been chosen to co-star in the upcoming gang thriller "Days of Wrath," reported Reuters, citing Hollywood Reporter. It will be the feature directing debut of Celia Fox.
The independent film will be centered around how a number people with connected lives living in Los Angeles attempt to survive a battle between rival black and Latino gangs in the city.
The gang war is started when the character Valderrama plays named Daniel, rips off a rapper's car while killing the mother of his own gang's leader accidently.
Fishburne plays the role of teacher who tries to reason with the two sides to put an end to the violence.
Others starring in the film are Lupe Ontiveros who is the grandmother of the Latino gang leader, Amber Valletta who plays an anchorwoman and rapper Kurupt who is sent into the middle of the battle.
Shooting for the film started on Wednesday.
