With the focus on giving last week, "American Idol" didn't toss any of the remaining contestants. That changed as Phil Stacey and Chris Richardson said goodbye to their fellow contestants.
While no one was tossed last week, they did include the totals cast from that night with those of this show to come up with who would be given the boot. Total votes cast this time exceeded 135 million, between text-messaging and phone.
Richardson said, "Thank you to everybody for keeping me in this long."
So it's down to the final four: LaKisha Jones, Blake Lewis, Jordin Sparks and Melinda Doolittle.
Robin Thicke and Bon Jovi performed in Wednesday's show, which continues to draw huge ratings of between 26 million to 37 million per airing.
