
Fox (NWS-A) continues to own Wednesday night as it clobbered everything in sight to take another Wednesday primetime ratings victory. "American Idol" finished with 27.4 million viewers and a 10.5 rating/27 share for the key 18-49 demo.
For ABC (DIS) and "Lost," the news wasn't good, as they finished with their lowest numbers in the key 18-49 demo they've ever had, coming in at 11.9 million viewers and a 4.9/13. That would also make it the second lowest household rating they've ever had also. They weren't even able to win the night, sucoming to CBS' "CSI: NY" which brought in 12.7 million viewers and a 3.6/10.
In the 8 p.m. slot, Fox also won with a good showing from "Bones" with 10 million viewers and a 3.2/10. For CBS and the season finale to "Jericho," they were able to draw 7.8 millon people with a 2.1/7. The CW was able to finish third in the slot with "America's Top Model" with 4.9 million viewers and a 2.4/8.
Overall Fox led everyone with an average of 18.7 million viewers and 6.8/20 with adults 18-49. CBS (CBS-A) followed with 11.1 million, 3.1/9; a ABC drew an average of 7.5 million, 3.0/9; and NBC (GE) came in fourth again with 6.1 million, 2.1/6.
