There has been a lot of buzz concerning whether Kate Walsh and her character, Addison Shepherd would get their own series next season.
ABC (DIS) has confirmed that there will be a new series next season spinning off from "Grey's Anatomy" that will tentatively be called "Private Practice."
After the two-hour special and good Nielsen results the show seemed to be a sure lock. Grey's" was able to pull a 9.1/24 with the special to help them win another sweeps night with getting a 7.3 rating/20 in the key 18-49 for the network.
The show is being executive produced by Shonda Rhimes, Mark Gordon, Betsy Beers and Marti Noxon.
